Relasi Kuasa Dalam Pengelolaan Pasar Tradisional: Studi Kasus Pasar Kranggot Kota Cilegon

Pasar tradisional tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ruang ekonomi, tetapi juga sebagai arena sosial-politik yang melibatkan berbagai aktor, kepentingan, dan relasi kekuasaan. Penelitian ini menganalisis relasi kuasa dalam pengelolaan Pasar Kranggot Kota Cilegon menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis menggunakan perspektif relasi kuasa Michel Foucault dan pendekatan public governance. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan pasar berlangsung melalui jejaring aktor formal dan informal yang diwarnai negosiasi, resistensi, kompromi, dan dominasi, terutama dalam penataan pedagang, pengendalian PKL, retribusi, dan parkir. Efektivitas pengelolaan pasar tidak hanya bergantung pada kewenangan pemerintah, tetapi juga pada kemampuan mengelola kepentingan dan distribusi kekuasaan. Kebaruan penelitian terletak pada integrasi perspektif Foucault dan public governance untuk memahami pasar tradisional sebagai arena kontestasi dan negosiasi, sekaligus mendukung pengelolaan yang lebih partisipatif, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan.
